Member Posts: 10  | I'm lucky enough to have my wife as one of my hunting buddies, and if you're like me, sucess by your wife or friends means more than your own. Well, on October 8 my wife not only showed me up she harvested a giant and she deserves it! This La Crosse County deer weighted 215 pounds (dressed), has 11 scoreable points, and green scores 168 6/8" (156 net). We have over 80 trail camera shots of this buck. The reason I am particularily proud is that she wasn't going to settle for a lesser deer, her words were..."have you seen the pictures of that big one?" I'm still second-hand to the wife but am thrilled with the kill none the less.
