Here are the pics from my brother Chads trip to Wyoming in early oct. Him and his friend Derrick shot the biggest and 3rd biggest bucks they seen on the trip. So you can see how tuff the hunt must have been. Chad said they saw more bull elk then buck muleys. The goats were a last minute purchase they figured they were already out there they might as well check for left over tags. They had some available and within only 2 hours had each of there $274 tags filled with quailty antelope that they had spotted and stalked.

Looks like you guys did well in WY. Where were you hunting in WY? I'd like to know more about the elk you were seeing and what unit you were hunting. I have 2 preference pts for mule deer and 2 for elk.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tbone.

By the way I like the Brewers hunting gear.

I grew up in Milwaukee suburbs.

hey man, sorry it took so long to get back you on here, I've been trying to catch up on some deer late season bow hunting. anyway the area we were in is about 60 miles west of new castle in a spot called the roshell hills. (the spelling on that may be a little off). i believe for deer it is area 22. and for elk it would be like areas 123 or 113 i believe. the only bad thing as far as the elk went was, we had talked to a warden and he said it was a pretty tough tag to draw, and that the area only opened once every couple years. but who knows you may get lucky. and as far as the bulls went we saw prolly 3-4 pretty good ones and 8 to a dozen rag horns. If my buddy and I had elk tags we'd of done well.
